Therapy

Finding a good balance has never been more important as we continue to live through such challenging times. Developing more resilience; feeling more grounded; creating healthy work/life boundaries and strengthening our connections with others are crucial for reducing anxiety or feelings of despair or depression.

Perhaps you have been feeling that life's responsibilities, demands and expectations overwhelm you at times or you have just been going through the motions, holding it all together but are still left feeling unhappy or unfilled. Has something happened to effect the status quo of your life and you feel it would be valuable to take some time out to address it or explore it? Or perhaps you are at a crossroads in your life? Do you just need someone to talk to who is not connected to your life? Therapy can help you take time out to step back, take a breath and reflect. It can also help:

  • improve empathy and communication in relationships

  • reduce anger, stress, anxiety, depression

  • ease the pain of bereavement

  • understand more deeply sexuality, identity, spirituality, cultural issues and beliefs

  • promote a more positive, flexible mind-set

  • create a healthier work/ life balance

  • provide the development of tools and coping strategies to use during difficult times

  • promote a sense of personal liberation and autonomy

  • allow you to take personal responsibility

  • encourage the development of greater self-discipline

  • improve self-esteem and confidence

Whatever challenge you face at the moment, therapy could help you take a fresh look at what has been, what is and what is to come.
