Q: How do I book a session with you?

A: You can email me at freed.sarahl@gmail.com and leave a contact telephone number for me to call you on and a convenient time. Or, you can call me on 01223 811170 or 0773 975 9338. I will return your call as soon as I can

 

Q: Where are you located?

A: I am based in Lode CB25 - 6-7 miles between Cambridge and Newmarket. If you are considering therapy by telephone, please contact me to discuss convenient times for us both.

 

Q: What will happen the first time we first meet?

A: If we are meeting face to face, we will arrange a time and place to meet and I will email you confirmation of this. In the first session, I will ask you about your history and background and get a better understanding of what brings you to therapy and what you hope to gain from the sessions. At the end of the first session, we will agree a plan going forward. If sessions are to be on the telephone, we will arrange a mutually convenient time. 

 

Q: How many sessions will we need?

A: There are no set rules about number of sessions. It depends on what you would like to work on, as well as practical issues such as diaries and finances. We will decide this together.

 

Q: How confidential are the sessions?

A: Our sessions are completely confidential and whatever you say to me will remain contained in the therapy room. There are a couple of exceptions to this, for example, if you disclosed to me you are involved in something illegal or if I felt there may be a risk of you harming yourself or someone close to you. I would then have to notify relevant third parties.

 

Q: What if I don't feel you are the right therapist for me?

A: I won't take it personally! We would discuss other options for you. Getting the right therapist and building a good therapeutic relationship is essential for the success of the therapy. If, for whatever reason, you didn't feel we were a good match or I thought someone else might be better placed to support you, I would help you to find what's right for you.

 

Q: How do I pay?

A: You can pay by cash on the day (face-to-face sessions) or via bank transfer the day prior to our session. Please note that telephone sessions must be paid for in advance via bank transfer.
